« Se serrer la ceinture » : Guy Marius Sagna tacle les autorités et leurs fonds secrets
During an appearance on the RSI program "En Vérité," MP Guy Marius Sagna announced the imminent tabling of a bill aimed at regulating the use of political funds. Sponsored by the PASTEF Les Patriotes parliamentary group, this initiative seeks to strengthen transparency in the management of public resources.
According to the elected official, the National Assembly will examine in the coming weeks a bill dedicated to regulating political funds and slush funds. This bill could be introduced by the government or directly by the parliamentary group. The stated objective is to put an end to practices deemed contrary to the principles of good governance by establishing a clear and binding legal framework.
Denunciation of privileges and a call for fairness
Guy Marius Sagna also denounces a contradiction between repeated calls for the population to "tighten their belts" and the maintenance of privileges linked to political funds. He considers this situation paradoxical, especially in a difficult economic context where many citizens are struggling to make ends meet.
The MP reiterated that this reform was among his party's key commitments and that it was now time to take action. He affirmed that the PASTEF group intended to play a leading role in defending and promoting this proposal within the parliament.
Beyond the legislative debate, Guy Marius Sagna advocates a vision based on fairness and accountability in the management of public finances. For him, no political authority should have free access to public funds, especially when the majority of citizens face precarious economic realities.
