THIERNO ALASSANE SALL : "Le Pastef, la coalition Diomaye et leurs nombreux alliés ont perdu tout sens de l'éthique et de la responsabilité"
The MP and leader of the Republic of Values/Réewum Ngor (RDV) party announced that on Thursday, November 6, during his address to the Finance Committee of the National Assembly, speaking to the Minister of Finance and his colleague from the Ministry of Economy, he warned of the crushing burden of debt servicing. He added that he also cautioned about the direct impact on this debt and on the ability to access the financial market of the conflict between Diomaye and Sonko. However, he noted that many of his colleagues from Pastef sneered at his remarks.
Less than a week later, Thierno Alassane Sall noted that Senegal was sinking into the lowest circles of financial hell, following developments in the power struggle at the top.
"Pastef, the Diomaye coalition and their many allies have lost all sense of ethics and responsibility by offering the people a pathetic war of chiefs, while the 'enemies' of Senegal are working day and night. The country is facing a colossal debt that makes urgent investments virtually impossible. Poverty and hunger are hitting ever-wider social strata, JNIM is at our borders. And that's not all," warns TAS.
In this context, he believes that talking about a "transitional president," boycotting cabinet meetings, and dividing the country between pro-Diomaye and pro-Sonko factions is not only childish, but also a betrayal of Senegal. For the real high treason, he believes, would be to let this "chaos flourish."
