A.B. Diop vole pour du ‘guinz’, la vidéosurveillance scelle son sort
AB Diop, nicknamed the “guizman,” will learn his fate on October 13, 2025. Prosecuted for theft, he is accused of stealing a 12-meter fabric belonging to the shopkeeper N. Thiaw, in Thiès. Addicted to “guinz,” AB Diop, desperate to obtain this substance to get drunk, decided to steal a fabric from N. Thiaw’s shop in order to resell it. Taking advantage of a moment when the shopkeeper was surrounded by customers, he stole the 12-meter fabric and left the premises.
When N. Thiaw noticed the fabric was missing, she questioned the neighbors, who reported seeing a man leaving the shop with a piece of fabric. By reviewing the CCTV footage, the shopkeeper was able to identify the thief. A few days later, AB Diop had the misfortune to return to the scene, perhaps intending to commit another theft. The shopkeeper had him arrested and handed him over to the police. Charged with theft, he was remanded in custody at the Thiès Criminal Investigation Department.
At the bar of the district court, AB Diop attempted to deny the facts, declaring that he had never been at the scene. But he was left speechless when the judge showed him the CCTV footage, which contradicted his denials. The public prosecutor, considering the facts consistent, requested that the law be applied.

juge bi neko yereum té mayko béne chance , mais l'état devrait aussi , mettre en place des centre de desintoxication , c'est l'unique solution face à ce phenomene. Certain veulent en sortir , mais ils ont une trés une mauvaise fréquentation qui les maintienne dans ce circuit
