Assainissement de Tivaouane : le Ministre Cheikh Tidiane Dièye lance les grands travaux lundi 10 novembre
The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Dr. Cheikh Tidiane Dièye, will launch the Tivaouane Stormwater Drainage Project on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Penc Kheur Khaly Square. According to a statement from the ONAS (National Sanitation Office) technical services, the project aims to "protect the city from flooding and uncontrolled runoff within the municipality through the construction of structural infrastructure." A stormwater drainage network will be built in the neighborhoods of Cité Serigne Mansour, Kouly, Fogny, Djeddah, Keur Khaly, and the area near the town hall. These new structures will complement those already built as part of other projects.
