Décès de Abdou Aziz Mbaye : L’hommage de El Malick Ndiaye
In a post on the social network Facebook, this Monday, October 20, the President of the National Assembly, El Malick Ndiaye, paid tribute to the president of traditional communicators of Senegal.
"It is with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Mr. Abdou Aziz Mbaye, president of traditional communicators and Master of Ceremonies of the family of Seydi Hadji Malick Sy (RTA) of Tivaouane. A prominent figure in traditional communication, he embodied with nobility and constancy the oral tradition in the service of the religious and cultural values of our nation," wrote El Malick Ndiaye.
He added: "I am particularly moved by this thought, as an audience between him and me was scheduled for this week. Fate decided otherwise, but his memory will remain alive, bright and inspiring."
The President of the National Assembly expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, to the family of Seydi Hadji Malick Sy, as well as to all traditional communicators of Senegal.
Called to God this Sunday at Fann Hospital following an illness, Abdou Aziz Mbaye will be buried today in Tivaouane, after the Tisbar prayer (2:15 p.m.).
