Parcelles Assainies : un receleur arrêté avec 42 téléphones volés, 8 victimes déjà identifiées

On April 11, 2026, around 10 a.m., the district police station of unit 15 of Parcelles Assainies arrested two individuals for criminal association, theft and receiving stolen goods, following the complaint of Mr. A. Thiam for the theft of his iPhone 11 Pro in the Cambérène sector according to Seneweb sources.

The investigation revealed that the stolen phone was used by OT, 34, a phone salesman, residing in unit 22 of Parcelles Assainies.

Summoned and heard, the latter declares that the device had been given to him by KK alias Abo, 25 years old, a phone seller, residing in unit 7 of Parcelles Assainies, for repair, billed at 13,000 FCFA.

Following his directions, KK was apprehended at the Case-Bi roundabout in possession of 42 mobile phones, including 19 Tecno, 8 Samsung, 2 iPhone 11 simple, 2 iPhone XR, 2 iPhone 11 Pro Max, 1 iPhone X-Max, 1 iPhone X, 3 iPhone 7+, 2 iPhone 6S+, 1 iPhone 8+ and 1 Redmi.

Requests made using the IMEI numbers of these devices have allowed authorities to contact their owners, who all report being victims of theft or assault. At this stage of the investigation, eight victims have already come forward to file legal claims. Others may still be identified.

The two suspects have been taken into custody. The public prosecutor's office has been informed and an investigation is underway.

Derrière ces téléphones volés il y’a beaucoup de drame des agressions avec violence et des blessures voir des gens qui ont perdu la vie sans parler le d'encourager certains à s'adonner au Simole et autres activités illicites pour de l’argent à cause du recèle

Bravo au commissariat de l'unité 15. Les autres commissariat et brigades on porte plainte mais on dirait qu'ils s'en fichent
