Al-Ittihad : N'Golo Kanté refuse de jouer !
The transfer of Al-Ittihad midfielder N'Golo Kanté (34 years old) to Fenerbahçe has been cancelled due to an error by the Saudi club in finalizing the transaction with FIFA. Faced with this situation, the Turkish club has filed an appeal with the world governing body to try and validate the deal, which was also supposed to see striker Youssef En-Nesyri move in the opposite direction.
Pending a possible reconciliation, the French international has made a strong decision, according to L'Equipe on Tuesday: the former Caen player refuses to play for Al-Ittihad until further notice. Unsurprisingly, Kanté, whose contract runs until next June, wants to put pressure on the club to join Fenerbahçe. As a reminder, the winter transfer window remains open in Turkey until Friday, but can Al-Ittihad, with the Saudi Arabian transfer market closed, accept losing the Frenchman without replacing him?
