Barça : Ter Stegen privé de vote aux présidentielles, la scène cocasse pour l'Allemand
Marc-André ter Stegen tried to vote in the FC Barcelona presidential elections, before realizing there was a small problem...
A decisive moment for Barça. The Catalan club's presidential elections continue this Sunday to determine who will succeed Joan Laporta, who remains the favorite in the polls. Several prominent figures from the Barcelona scene were spotted at polling stations this weekend, including Xavi, Busquets, and Aitana Bonmati this morning.
Marc-André ter Stegen also tried to vote on Sunday, but things didn't go as planned. The goalkeeper, on loan to Girona this season, made the trip to cast his ballot, only to realize he wasn't eligible to vote.
Ter Stegen is not on the electoral lists
The German man realized immediately that he wasn't registered to vote when he handed in his ballot. The reason? He simply hadn't updated his census information with the city of Barcelona, and therefore wasn't eligible to vote.
A rather surreal scene, showing a disillusioned ter Stegen at the polling station. Hardly the kind of thing to boost his popularity with the Barcelona fans.
