Lions coach Pape Thiaw will unveil tomorrow Thursday the list of players called up for the friendly match Brazil-Senegal, scheduled for November 15 at the Emirates Stadium in London.
According to the sports daily Record, which reported the news, the press conference will be held at 11 a.m., not at the Good Rade, its usual venue, but in the conference room of the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium. It marks Pape Thiaw's return to the media after several international breaks without speaking to the press.
This highly anticipated squad list, as it will be the last before the Africa Cup of Nations, could include new signings. Among them, according to the specialist newspaper, is Mamadou Sarr (RC Strasbourg, France), son of former international Pape Sarr, who was announced in October but withdrew due to injury and could finally make his debut.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle, England) and Ousmane Diao (Midtjylland, Denmark) are also expected to be selected. The inclusion of Robinio Vaz (Marseille), a dual national very popular with fans, is also being discussed, but his call-up remains uncertain, according to Record.
