CAN 2025 : Hallucinant, le Sénégal ne sait toujours pas où s’entraîner pour la veille de la finale
With less than 48 hours to go before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco, the Senegalese national team staff still doesn't know where the team will train this Saturday, the day before the match, reports RTS on the program "Marhaba." The Confederation of African Football (CAF) reportedly offered the annex of the Rabat stadium, but the federation refused in order to avoid revealing crucial information to their opponents.
The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final against the host nation is already shaping up to be epic. Following the extremely limited number of tickets allocated to Senegal, and then the security fiasco during the team's trip to Rabat, Morocco and the CAF are once again making headlines in their preparations for this final match. According to RTS, at the time of writing, the Senegalese team doesn't know where it will train tomorrow, the day before its final against Morocco. The CAF had offered the Senegalese a location, but the Senegalese Football Federation deemed it unsuitable for a calm and secure training environment. As a result, things are dragging on, and the CAF has yet to find an alternative.
This Friday, 48 hours before the match, the Senegalese players went for a run at their hotel, awaiting news of tomorrow's training location. This surprising situation could raise questions about the organization of the training camp in Morocco.
