African Beach Wrestling Championships: The Lions fly to Alexandria this Wednesday

Championnats d'Afrique de Beach Wrestling : les Lions s'envolent ce mercredi pour Alexandrie

The national Beach Wrestling team leaves Dakar this Wednesday morning for Alexandria, Egypt, where it will participate in the African Championships organized by the World Wrestling Union (UWW Africa) from April 27 to May 5. There, it will join an administrative and technical delegation already present for the competition.

This preparatory mission is notably ensured by the president of the Senegalese Wrestling Federation (FSL), Bira Sène, as well as by two international referees.

Senegal will be represented exclusively in Beach Wrestling with two separate teams. The youth team is composed of four girls and four boys, while the senior team includes Ngagne Sène, Siny Sembène, Cheikh Sadibou and Fallou Mbin Diab.

The delegation, supported by a full technical and medical staff, fine-tuned its preparation at the National Arena with a stated objective: to win several continental medals, reports the specialist newspaper Record.

Brisez tout espoir de marocain ou marocaine. De façon disciplinée mais sans pitié. En mémoire de nos supporters otages au Maroc, pays que je respecte du reste. Mais nak, le sport reste le sport et non un champde patates ou de reglement de compte lorsqu'on perd.
