Choc de la Ligue 1 : AS Pikine-Guédiawaye FC, Eumeu Sène et Sa Thiès s’en mêlent
AS Pikine and Guédiawaye FC (GFC) will face off next Sunday at the Léopold Senghor stadium for the 6th day of Ligue 1. Both teams will try to pick up points to climb back up the standings where they occupy 9th (Pikine) and 16th (GFC) places.
To avoid any clashes between Pikine and Guédiawaye supporters, which could mar this suburban derby, the Senegalese Professional Football League (LSFP) enlisted Eumeu Sène of Pikine and Sa Thiès of Guédiawaye. Record reports that the two wrestlers appeared in a video where "they call for unity and discipline."
