Zamalek se qualifie pour la finale de la Coupe de la CAF
The first team to qualify for the final of the CAF Confederation Cup is now known. It is the Egyptian club Zamalek from Cairo.
The Egyptians, who won the first leg of the semi-final in Algeria against CR Belouizdad (1-0), played to a draw this Friday in Cairo against the Algerians (0-0). This result was enough to secure their ticket to the final.
Already crowned champions of this competition in 2019 and 2024, Zamalek will face the winner of the other semi-final between Algeria's USM Alger, which features Senegalese midfielder Aimé Tendeng, and Morocco's Olympic Safi, which includes Senegalese striker Moussa Koné.
In the first leg in Algeria, USM Alger was held to a draw by Olympic Safi (0-0).
