Coupe du monde 2026 : De 329€ minimum pour France-Sénégal... à 171.000 euros pour la finale, la billetterie de revente flambe

A study shows that, more than six months before the competition, prices are already skyrocketing on resale sites for attending matches of the American World Cup.

The 2026 World Cup in the United States will be record-breaking, especially in terms of ticket prices. The ticketing platform SeatPick has analyzed ticket prices for all matches of the tournament on resale sites, as a new wave of ticket sales begins this Thursday at 5:00 PM for Europe. Thanks to dynamic pricing, which adjusts prices in real time based on supply and demand, asking prices are already reaching record highs.

An average of 11,108 euros to attend the final

The average price for the World Cup final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New York has reached €11,108! This is unprecedented in the history of sports. It's twice the price of the Champions League final, which had previously reached record levels (€6,840). By comparison, tickets for the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar, featuring Argentina vs. France, cost €1,460. As of Friday, the cheapest ticket for the final was €4,995, while the most expensive, in the hospitality section, was €171,760.

A minimum of €317 for a ticket to a French national team match

French fans will also have to dig deeper into their pockets to attend Les Bleus' matches. The most affordable ticket for the France-Senegal game on June 16 at MetLife Stadium is currently priced at €329. For the second match in Philadelphia, where the opponent is still unknown, prices start at €317. The clash against Norway on June 26 in Boston is currently unavailable unless you're willing to part with €547 on resale sites. Fans of Les Bleus would be well advised to use the ticketing system set up by the French Football Federation, which offers more affordable prices.

The cheapest tickets cost over €100

To experience the World Cup in a stadium at affordable prices, you have to look at less prestigious matches: €133 for the game between Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia, or €122 for the match between Uzbekistan... and an opponent yet to be determined! It's worth noting, however, that all these prices are for ticket resale platforms currently available. Sellers, who are free to set their own prices, have no guarantee of finding buyers.
