When questioned about this on The Jonathan Ross Show, Cristiano Ronaldo became irritated by the incessant questions, which he said were a private matter. "I don't owe anyone an explanation. Cristiano Junior doesn't just have a father: he has an exceptional father. He has a grandmother, he has the support of my family… and that's enough," explained the Portuguese star, tired of hearing these questions.
"I will tell him the truth."
Cristiano Ronaldo went on to explain that his son would learn the truth in due time, convinced that he would understand the former Real Madrid striker's decision: "Knowing his identity wouldn't change anything in their lives. When he's older, I'll tell him the truth, because he's my son. (...) I'll talk to him when I feel the time is right, and he'll understand his father 100%."
