Football : Pep Guardiola offre son soutien à l’équipe nationale palestinienne amputée de Gaza
Pep Guardiola (55) continues to use his international profile to draw attention to important global causes. This time, the Manchester City manager (2nd in the Premier League) made a powerful gesture by signing all the jerseys for the Palestinian national amputee team, Al Irada, based in Gaza.

The team had recently paid tribute to him for his support of the Palestinian cause, a commitment that Guardiola had alluded to during a press conference a few days earlier.
Wishing to highlight these ongoing struggles, the Spanish coach has always shown his involvement on and off the field.
In addition to this cause, he had also criticized controversial political decisions, notably the actions of the Trump administration following the deaths of Renée Good and Alex Pretti at the hands of ICE agents in Minneapolis, as well as the crises in Ukraine and Sudan. With this gesture, the Catalan coach further demonstrates his commitment to peace and justice in the world.
