Ibrahim Mbaye vs Hakimi en finale de Can : Luis Enrique, leur coach au Psg, se prononce
Two of his players have qualified for the final of the current Africa Cup of Nations (CAN-2025). They are Ibrahim Mbaye, who plays for Senegal, and Achraf Hakimi, the right-back for Morocco. This Thursday, speaking to the press, Luis Enrique expressed his delight for the two Parisians.
“I’m very happy for both of them, they deserve it. I hope they enjoy this final,” said the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) coach. The Spanish manager emphasized, however, that “it’s not easy to play in finals.”
As for his two players, Luis Enrique is aware that they will not both return happy at the end of the African competition: "One of them will come back angry and annoyed. It won't be possible for both of them to be happy. I wish them the best and we'll see."
For now, Luis Enrique says he hasn't sent a congratulatory message to the two Parisians. He explained the reason: "No, I haven't sent them a message or anything. I think they're so tired of seeing me when they're here. So I haven't sent them a message in Morocco," he explains.
