JOJ Dakar-2026 : Fin de stage pour les pays d'Afrique francophone
The training camp for French-speaking African countries, organized as part of the preparations for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games (YOG), concluded at the International Athletics Center, led by Olympic runner-up El Hadj Amadou Dia Ba. Each participating country was represented by a coach, a female athlete, and a male athlete, all selected to benefit from intensive training focused on performance and sporting excellence.
During their stay, the young talents had the privilege of receiving visits and advice from several major figures in African athletics, including Saly Sarr, world number 6 in the triple jump, Cheikh Tidiane Diouf, Abdoul Aziz Ndiaye, Saguirou and Louis François Mendy.
This initiative is part of Olympic solidarity, with the support of World Athletics, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the African Athletics Confederation and the African Athletics Development Centre (AADC).
