Ligue 1 - 19e journée : L’Ajel de Rufisque met fin à l'invincibilité du Casa Sports à domicile
Casa Sports, unbeaten at home since the start of the Ligue 1 season, suffered their first defeat yesterday at the Aline Sitoé Diatta stadium against Ajel, 0-1. The Rufisque club thus consolidates its first place in the standings. 
"Ajel controlled the game from start to finish, unlike us. We expected this. Sooner or later, it was going to happen (the home defeat). Because my players are exhausted. We wanted to negotiate this match to get at least a point...", said Casa coach Balla Djiba.
According to him, Ajel has once again proven that it is "the best team at the moment. It was the league leaders who beat us."
Balla Djiba believes that the time has come to remobilize the troops and quickly forget this home defeat, and above all to give the players a break to better prepare for what lies ahead.
For Ajel de Rufisque, securing the three points was crucial to consolidating their top spot and challenging for the title. "It's a great victory against a big club, Casa Sports, who are having a very good season. But we know we're in good form and we have a very dynamic attacking force. We can't afford any mistakes here in Casamance. We have to come, impose our game, and win. Since Casa played during the week, they were going to lack freshness. We told ourselves we could win this match because Casa is primarily focused on the Senegalese Cup, while we have the league title in our sights," commented Ajel coach Tabarane Dieng.
