Ligue 1 (9e journée) : La Linguère tombe encore à domicile
Things are going from bad to worse for Linguère of Saint-Louis. The flagship club of the three-hundred-year-old city was defeated at home by Jaraaf (0-1). Struggling in the first half, Linguère never managed to inject any pace into the game. More dominant in midfield, Jaraaf were more incisive, but failed to convert their chances before the break.
After returning from the locker room, Jaraaf continued at the same pace. At the hour mark, their efforts were rewarded with the opening goal from Almamy Matthew Fall (63rd minute).
This goal allows the Medina club to secure a fourth consecutive victory and climb to 3rd place in the standings with 15 points.
As for Linguėre, this third consecutive defeat at the Malade Wade stadium is starting to seriously worry its supporters.
