Ligue 1 - Moussa Niakhaté savoure l’exploit de Lyon face au PSG : « Le coup parfait »
Olympique Lyonnais' 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday in Ligue 1 has significantly boosted their chances of securing European qualification. Senegalese defender Moussa Niakhaté was quick to praise this impressive win, highlighting his team's collective effort.
Having delivered a solid performance, the 30-year-old player was delighted with the discipline and determination shown by the Lyon team against the reigning champions.
"It's the perfect result. We were disciplined, we gave everything and we were rewarded. There's a lot of pride. It's a great victory. Reshuffled or not, it's still PSG," he said in the mixed zone.
Buoyed by this prestigious victory, Lyon secured their second consecutive win and reignited their European hopes. Moussa Niakhaté, however, urged them to stay focused: "We must remain concentrated on ourselves. We're already focused on the next match."
