Champions League: Bayern Munich hold PSG to a draw, Real Madrid fall at Anfield

Ligue des champions : Bayern freine le PSG, le Real chute à Anfield

The fourth day of the Champions League kicked off on Tuesday and the clashes between European heavyweights lived up to all expectations.

At the Parc des Princes, Bayern Munich defeated PSG 2-1. Colombian striker Luis Díaz secured the victory for the Bavarians with a brace (4th and 34th minutes). However, the Bayern player was sent off at the end of the first half after a heavy foul on Hakimi, who was forced off injured.

This success allows the German club (1st, 12 pts) to achieve a 16th consecutive victory in all competitions.

 

At Anfield, Liverpool defeated Real Madrid (1-0). Argentine striker Mac Allister scored the winning goal in the 61st minute.

 

In London, Tottenham, with Pape Matar Sarr in the starting lineup, made short work of Copenhagen (4-0).

 

Monaco, without their Senegalese players Lamine Camara and Krépin Diatta, went and won in Bodø/Glimt (0-1).

 

On the road in Madrid, Ousseynou Niang's Union Saint-Gilloise were beaten by Atlético (3-1).

 

In Turin, Juventus were held to a draw by Sporting Lisbon (1-1).

 

In Prague, Slavia, with Youssoupha Mbodj, lost to Arsenal (0-3).
