CAF Champions League: Berkane and Mamelodi Sundowns complete the semi-finals
The final two clubs qualified for the CAF Champions League semi-finals are now known. Following the qualifications of FAR Rabat, who defeated the defending champions Pyramids, and Espérance de Tunis, who eliminated Al Ahly, RS Berkane and Mamelodi Sundowns have secured their places in the final four.
Berkane, the Moroccan side, held to a 1-1 draw in the first leg by Al Hilal Omdurman, pulled off a stunning upset, winning 1-0 away at Al Hilal. Mounir Chouiar secured the victory for his team, scoring the only goal of the match in stoppage time (90+).
In Bamako, Stade Malien defeated Mamelodi Sundowns (2-0). However, it was the South Africans, who won the first leg (3-0), who secured their qualification for the semi-finals.
