Lutte : le coup d’envoi de la saison 2025-2026 lancé après deux mois de retard
This year, the 2025-2026 Senegalese wrestling season is starting two months late, due to the process of establishing the Senegalese Wrestling Federation, according to the sports daily Record in its Saturday, November 29th edition. Promoter Mansour Ba (Jambaar Productions) will have the honor of officially launching the season.
The big fight of this inaugural day will pit two great hopes of the arena against each other: Mor Kang Kang from the Cheikh Mbaba stable and Prince (Bayi Ci Xel).
After a defeat in his first match of the 2021-2022 season, Prince has since embarked on an impressive seven-match winning streak. The Pikine native will be looking to secure an eighth consecutive victory.
Nicknamed the "momentum breaker," Mor Kang Kang had himself racked up an 11-fight winning streak before his first defeat. More recently, Baol Baol ended Boy Diop 2's undefeated run (11 wins in 11 fights), sending a clear warning to Prince.
The specialized newspaper understands that the match between Prince and Mor Kang Kang will take place without VAR. According to Record, the National Wrestling Management Committee (CNG) has indicated that it lacks the necessary funds to cover the installation and payment costs for the system.
