PSG : Luis Enrique évoque le retour en club du champion d’Afrique Ibrahim Mbaye

Winner of the AFCON-2025 with Ibrahim Mbaye, from Senegal, has already joined the PSG squad that faces AJ Auxerre in Ligue 1 this Friday. In the pre-match press conference, Luis Enrique expressed his delight at the return of the Parisian youth player.

"In terms of maturity, the Africa Cup of Nations was important for him."

“I’m very happy for him because he’s 17. He has experience because he played a lot this season, and last season too. In terms of maturity, the AFCON was important for him. Every time he played, he did well, and I think he has the level. I’m happy to have IB and Hakimi back. That’s good news,” said the Asturian coach.

As a reminder, Ibrahim Mbaye was born to a Senegalese father and a Moroccan mother. The 2025 AFCON final was therefore a rather special occasion for the young man.

Les joueurs français de l'équipe du Sénégal contre la France à la coupe du monde, ils vont chanter les deux hymnes nationales ? c'est comment ? Ou c'est la France qui joue contre elle même. Ils sont quand même bcp de binationaux dans léquipe quand même.
