Real Madrid : Florentino Pérez veut faire revenir José Mourinho
Second in La Liga with a significant deficit to FC Barcelona with five games remaining, eliminated from the Champions League as well as the Copa del Rey, Real Madrid is preparing to conclude another season without a major trophy, a rare situation for the Madrid club.
Faced with this disappointing record, Florentino Pérez intends to take back control of the sporting project. Unlike the appointment of Xabi Alonso last summer, orchestrated by CEO José Ángel Sánchez, the Real Madrid president wants to choose the future coach himself this time.

According to The Athletic, the Spanish club's sporting director would prefer a return for José Mourinho, currently managing Benfica. Having already managed Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, the Portuguese tactician appears to be Pérez's favorite.

This possible return of the "Special One" is causing division within the club. But determined to impose his vision, Florentino Pérez could follow through and make the final decision on the future of the Madrid bench this summer.
