Recours au TAS contre la CAF : les avocats de la Fédé engagent une grande bataille à Paris
While the Lions are preparing at the INSEP in Paris for their friendly match against Peru next Saturday at the Stade de France, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) is behind the scenes preparing its response to the CAF appeals jury's decision, which stripped Senegal of the 2025 African Cup of Nations title and awarded it to Morocco. Having officially filed a case with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Wednesday, the governing body is launching a public relations campaign around this case, which has attracted global attention. Its lawyers are holding a press conference this Thursday to address the issue.
Les Échos, which broke the story, specifies that the meeting with journalists is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the offices of the Image 7 communications agency, located in the 17th arrondissement. "This press conference should allow the lawyers to present, in detail, the legal grounds for the appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) [and to] shed light on the next steps in the procedure as well as the possible scenarios," the newspaper predicts.
