Situation de Salah à Liverpool : l’avis tranché de Mido
Former Egyptian international Ahmed Hassan "Mido," who played in the English, Italian, and French leagues, knows European football well. Speaking about his compatriot Mohamed Salah's situation at Liverpool, the 2006 African champion indicated that the Reds' striker should consider leaving.
Asked to give his analysis, Mido believes that Salah has reached a pivotal moment in his adventure with Liverpool.
“When Liverpool plays, all of Egypt watches Salah. People feel like their son is now playing in the best league in the world. They are proud of him, but it puts enormous pressure on him. I experienced it myself. (…) If you lose the confidence of your manager, it’s very difficult to repair. I think he should leave. But if he leaves, it has to be on a high note. He has given so much to Liverpool. He’s a legend,” Mido declared on Sky Sports.
