Tirage au sort CAN-2027 : Un groupe abordable pour les Lions, mais...
The Confederation of African Football held the draw for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday, a competition that will be co-organized by the East African trio of Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.
As reigning African champions, Senegal now know their future opponents.
Drawn in Group J, the Lions will face Mozambique, Sudan and Ethiopia in the race for qualification.

On paper, Senegal seems to have been drawn into a group well within its reach. Riding high on their status as African champions and the quality of their squad, Pape Thiaw's men will start as the overwhelming favorites to finish top of the group.
However, the Lions will have to be wary of their opponents, especially Mozambique, which is on the rise, and Sudan, winner of the trophy in 1970, two teams capable of causing an upset.
Ethiopia, the 1962 winner, will try to be a spoiler in a group where every point will count.
With the ambition of retaining their continental crown, the Senegalese will be keen to achieve a solid qualifying campaign before the final phase scheduled in East Africa.
