Transfert : Abdou Diallo sur le chemin d’un retour en Europe ?
Senegalese international defender Abdou Diallo could make his big return to French Ligue 1 during the next summer transfer window.
Having arrived at Paris Saint-Germain, which he left in August 2023 to embark on a new adventure in Qatar, the former Monaco player could already be making his comeback to Europe. A year after his last appearance in Parisian colors, the Senegalese center-back seems ready to relaunch his career on the continent.
Currently on loan at Umm Salal SC until June 30th, Diallo is not expected to remain at Al-Arabi SC, his parent club, for much longer. Turning 30 on May 4th, he is heading towards a free transfer, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.
According to the same source, the 2022 African champion is aiming for a return to Europe. Several clubs in France, Germany, and England are reportedly monitoring his situation closely.
With his wealth of experience, Abdou Diallo boasts a highly valued profile, particularly thanks to his defensive versatility. The three-time French champion, having won the title with AS Monaco in 2017 and twice with Paris Saint-Germain in 2020 and 2022, could therefore represent an interesting opportunity in the transfer market.
