Transfert : Nampalys Mendy signe en Angleterre
After a difficult spell at Lens, where he played little, Nampalys Mendy will be relaunching his career in England. The Senegalese midfielder will join London club Watford.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 2021 African champion has even signed a contract with the Championship club. He has been hired for one year, with an option for another.
With Nampalys Mendy, Watford is keen to demonstrate its ambition to return to the Premier League. Last season, the London club finished in the middle of the league, in 14th place. This season, the team coached by Paulo Pezzolano has had a very mixed start, with one win, one draw, and one defeat.

Il a été exceptionnel lors de la coupe d'Afrique 2021 sans lui je crois que le Sénégal ne serait jamais champion d'Afrique car Gana en ce moment ne marchait pas du tout.
