In a context where the professionalization of football is becoming an essential requirement, the Senegalese Professional Football League (LSFP) wants to take a further step. To this end, it organized a training session for its clubs on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Focused on the Clearing House and the use of FIFA's legal portal, this meeting is part of a dynamic of modernization of the administrative and financial practices of Senegalese football.

The objective is to enable clubs to better control the regulatory tools that govern transfers and player management on an international scale.

Around this initiative, representatives of professional clubs took part in practical and interactive exchanges aimed at strengthening their capacities and improving their understanding of legal and financial mechanisms.

The president of the LSFP, Babacar Ndiaye, emphasized the importance of a structured framework to support sporting performance. "Indeed, we cannot continuously train and achieve results at the level of African football — in U15, U17, U20 and senior levels — without having a solid ecosystem that meets the requirements of international management," he stated.

He specified that this session is the fifth organized this season, addressing key topics such as transfers, market procedures, the financial clearing house and FIFA bodies.

According to him, these training programs are an essential lever to enable clubs to comply with international standards, avoid sanctions related to administrative errors and ensure better traceability of players, while opening up prospects in terms of training compensation and solidarity.

The meeting brought together the country's thirty-two professional clubs, with the participation of the Senegalese Football Federation, as well as the firms MSC and Dream Sport and ADPEME.

Babacar Ndiaye stressed the importance of organization off the field, emphasizing that the administrative management of clubs must meet the same requirements as those of major international institutions, like Real Madrid.
