Vers un grand ménage à Madrid? Le Real préparerait le départ de cinq à six joueurs selon la presse espagnole
According to the Spanish media outlet Sport, after its trophyless season, Real Madrid is preparing to part ways with a handful of players to refresh its squad.
Real Madrid is already preparing for its new season and intends to part ways with players deemed surplus to requirements at the Bernabéu. While fans have primarily criticized the lack of cohesion shown by the star-studded squad, particularly the connection between Vinicius and Mbappé, which has been heavily criticized in Spain, according to the Spanish media outlet Sport, Real Madrid is preparing to streamline its youth academy, with the departures of Asensio and Fran Garcia, now considered unwanted at the Bernabéu.
Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, who was linked with a move to Marseille last summer, is also on the chopping block. David Alaba, whose contract expires at the end of June, is also expected to leave.
Camavinga leaving?
According to reports from the media outlet Sport, Camavinga is currently playing his fifth and final season with Real Madrid. The 23-year-old Frenchman, valued at around €50 million on Transfermarkt, faced intense criticism after receiving his second yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct, which resulted in a red card and his expulsion in the 86th minute against Bayern Munich, when Real Madrid were on the verge of forcing extra time. In the immediate aftermath of this dismissal, within just five minutes, Luis Diaz and then Olise extinguished the hopes of Kylian Mbappé and his teammates to qualify.
However, according to information from RMC Sport, the player does not wish to leave the Merengue club and also retains the confidence of its managers, in particular that of the president Florentino Perez, with whom he still maintains a very good relationship.
The nuggets brought home
While all these departures would leave a void in the Real Madrid dressing room, Florentino Pérez intends to recall his promising young players who are shining at other clubs. Endrick, on loan at Lyon without an option to buy, will indeed return to Madrid at the end of the season. As for Nico Paz, who continues to rack up impressive goals every weekend with Cesc Fàbregas' Como, he has a €9 million buy-back clause that Real Madrid fully intends to activate. The same goes for Victor Muñoz, who is doing well at Osasuna and will return to Madrid at the end of the season for just €8 million.
