Indisponibilité de bagages sur le vol HC 404 : La colère noire d’un client d’Air Sénégal
A passenger on Air Senegal flight HC 404, which arrived in Dakar from Paris on December 10, 2025, denounces a situation he describes as "enormous damage" after being left without his luggage for more than a week.
According to this customer, many passengers' luggage was not delivered to their destination on this flight, leaving travelers without personal belongings upon arrival in Senegal. "For over a week, I've been without luggage, clothes, or personal effects," he lamented, highlighting a situation that is particularly detrimental to travelers on short stays.
The passenger also criticized the ground handling service, which he deemed "almost inadequate," particularly due to the failure to meet the announced baggage arrival dates. "The communicated deadlines were not met, and the information provided was unclear," he stated.
According to this testimony, more than 400 pieces of luggage were left in Paris, impacting a large number of customers. Some of them reportedly completed their stay in Senegal without ever retrieving their belongings. This situation, according to the complainant, seriously damages the image of Air Senegal, as well as that of the country itself.
"Many customers are likely to turn away from Air Senegal in favor of other companies," he warned, adding that the urgent priority now is to resolve this crisis and compensate the affected passengers.
The customer does not rule out taking legal action in the coming days and making the matter public on social media if the company does not provide a satisfactory response.
So far, Air Senegal has not officially commented on this specific incident.
