Gouvernement Al Aminou Lo : La réaction du Mouvement des femmes d'actions
The Women's Action Movement (MFA) welcomed, in a statement published on June 2, the composition of the new Senegalese government, particularly highlighting the presence of women in positions of responsibility.
The organization believes that the choices made by the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, reflect a desire to strengthen women's representation within the state's decision-making bodies. According to the MFA, this approach represents progress towards more inclusive participation of women in governance.
The movement notably congratulated the new female ministers appointed to the government, including Marie Angélique Mame Selbé Diouf, Djiréyé Clotilde Coly, Amy Mara Dièye, and Coumba Diop. The organization believes these appointments demonstrate a commitment to further promoting female leadership at the highest levels of government.
Beyond congratulating the new executive, the MFA called on members of the government to work in a spirit of cohesion and responsibility in order to meet the expectations of the people and contribute to the implementation of the objectives of the Senegal 2050 Framework.
In its statement, the movement also expressed the wish that government action be geared towards concrete results and quick responses to the concerns of the Senegalese people.
Finally, he paid tribute to Aminata Touré, presented as a figure embodying commitment and patriotism in service to the nation.
