Primes de la CAN 2025 : malaise à la FSF, seuls cinq dirigeants ont empoché les 75 millions F CFA
While the Lions of Senegal did receive the bonuses promised by the Head of State after their victory in Morocco, the situation remains tense within the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF). Les Échos reports that a wave of frustration is sweeping through the official delegation: "Not everyone is happy."
A presidential promise partially fulfilled
The newspaper points out that while President Bassirou Diomaye Faye had initially planned to include the entire official delegation in the distribution of bonuses, the final result was quite different. At the end of the distribution, "only five federal officials received their bonuses of 75 million CFA francs."
The beneficiaries are the president of the FSF, Abdoulaye Fall, the secretary general, Abdoulaye Saydou Sow, the first vice-president, Babacar Ndiaye, the second vice-president, Kosso Diané, as well as Cheikh Seck, vice-president in charge of international competitions, who nevertheless received his bonus "as a member of the technical committee".
This disparity in the payment of bonuses creates a climate of unease within the governing body of Senegalese football, the same source specifies.
