In the name of Allah the Merciful, Caliph Thierno Madani Tall sent his warm and fraternal congratulations to the Senegalese national team for their brilliant victory at the Africa Cup of Nations, marked by a second historic continental title.

In his message, the caliph hails a consecration achieved through effort, discipline, humility and team spirit, values that honor the entire nation and illustrate, once again, Senegal's ability to excel when its daughters and sons move forward united towards the same ideal.

He was keen to associate with this national joy the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the entire government as well as the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) for the leadership, vision, technical guidance and structuring work which have enabled Senegal to establish itself permanently at the top of African football.

Caliph Thierno Madani Tall also paid a heartfelt tribute to the Senegalese people, praising their exemplary mobilization, marked by fervor, dignity, and prayers behind the Lions. According to him, this national unity constitutes a major victory in itself, reminding everyone that unity remains the greatest strength of nations.

To this end, he recalled the saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): “The believer is like a building: each part supports the other” (reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim), emphasizing that any action promoting solidarity, mutual support, and brotherhood is beneficial. Sport, when guided by noble values, thus becomes a powerful vehicle for unity, peace, and rapprochement between peoples.

At the same time, the Caliph sent his congratulations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the brotherly people of Morocco for the remarkable organization of this AFCON, praising the hospitality, the quality of the welcome and the strengthening of fraternal ties between the two nations, called upon to work together in the service of Africa.

Finally, Khalifa Thierno Madani Tall offered prayers that Allah, the Most High, would grant Africa lasting peace, unity of hearts and wisdom of leaders, while blessing the continent's economic and social development efforts and opening up paths of hope, dignity and shared prosperity to African youth.
