Victoire des lions: Mbaye Dione adresse ses félicitations aux Lions de la Téranga
Senegal celebrates another historic victory. The Lions of Teranga have raised the national flag high by winning the Africa Cup of Nations, writing their name in gold in the history of African football.
In this context of national jubilation, Mbaye Dione, Secretary General of the Alliance of Progressive Forces (AFP) and mayor of Ngoundiane, was keen to offer his congratulations. In his message, he emphasized the symbolic significance of this victory:
“History was written in letters of gold in Morocco in 2026. The Lions of Teranga have once again raised Senegal to the pinnacle of African football. Through your courage, discipline, and spirit of sacrifice, you have embodied the soul of a people standing tall, proud, and united. You have proven that when Senegal plays together, nothing can stand in its way. This Africa Cup of Nations is much more than a trophy: it is a victory of faith, hard work, and perseverance. It belongs to every Senegalese person, both at home and abroad. Honor to the Lions of Teranga!”
